My stay at this hotel was a pleasant surprise from start to finish. the value for money was exceptional - I couldn't believe how affordable the prices were for such a high-quality experience. Secondly, the attention to detail was evident throughout, from the comfortable rooms with good bathrooms to the excellent shower room and top-notch linen. Lastly, the location was perfect, right in the heart of a charming village with convenient parking. The hotel's breakfast was also a highlight, with plenty of options to satisfy any appetite.
Everything was absolutely fine, no complaints whatsoever.

We had a wonderful stay at a local hotel in a charming town. The views of the beautiful countryside were amazing, and the hotel's bar and restaurant were popular among the locals. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated, with a good bathroom and comfortable bedding. Despite being in a semi-rural area, some English was spoken, but it's always helpful to know a few words of French. The food in the restaurant was great, although the breakfast orange juice could have been better. The hotel also had a private car park with extra security for our vehicle. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and scenic stay.

Family-run motel with secure private parking. Clean and comfortable rooms, albeit without air conditioning. Limited but OK restaurant. Lovely pool area, although weather-dependent. Pleasant village location with beautiful countryside views.

During my stay at Argia in Hasparren, I was pleased to find two features in the room that made my experience enjoyable. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the room. The hotel staff ensured that everything was spotless and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. the comfortable bed provided a good night's sleep after a long day of traveling. The room also had a balcony that overlooked a large swimming pool, adding a touch of luxury to the overall experience.
One minor inconvenience I encountered was the lack of air conditioning. Unfortunately, I arrived at the hotel during the start of a minor heatwave, and the temperature outside reached a scorching 35 degrees Celsius late in the afternoon.

The room was well decorated and the shower was spacious, making it comfortable to stay in. The hotel's location was convenient to my travel route, and it was easy to find a parking spot. the breakfast was abundant and delicious.
One negative aspect was the quality of the mattress covers. They were not breathable and made it difficult to sleep comfortably.

Loved the delicious Basque cuisine at the hotel restaurant, it was so satisfying. The terrace and garden were perfect for enjoying a drink. And the seasonal outdoor pool looked great, I'm sure the kids loved it!
The waterproof mattress covers were just the cherry on top, nothing like waking up sweaty in the middle of the night.

We stayed at Argia hotel on our way to Portugal and it served its purpose well. As solo travelers on motorbikes, the private car park, secured by locked gates at night, was a major consideration for us. the family-run hotel was a refreshing change and madame's English was very helpful. The clean and comfortable room, though lacking air conditioning, provided a comfortable overnight stay. Cons: Don't have any issues at all. 😊.
